Steven comes from 6 generations of winemaking and produces a stellar Sauvignon Blanc, “Lola.” We discuss his program, a bit about the history of Livermore and its relationship with Sauvignon Blanc, and how he believes more people should now about this great wine region of California.
SauvBlancTV – Episode 3 – In this edition, we interview Larry Dino of Livermore Valley’s Cuda Ridge Wines. Larry is the owner and winemaker of this great boutique winery found in this historic wine region of California – the state’s oldest commercial wine producing region and one with a long history of Sauvignon Blanc.
SauvBlancTV – Episode 2 – We interview Michael Griva of F&G and Griva Vineyards in the Arroyo Seco AVA of California. Michael, who is the president of the AVA and an exceptional grower, discusses his unique trellising system that facilitates even-ripening of their Sauvignon Blanc fruit. In this case, as with the rest of the appellation, he focuses on the Sauvignon Musqué clone. It’s a type of SB that thrives in this unique terroir.
